Sheer is a terrific flier and was from the start, but the calc used to determine the vertical fin area; used for dynamic soaring configuration, was not appropriate for the crossover model Sheer is designed to be.  The result is a ‘cat butt wiggle’ at transitional speeds, such as coming out of a pump turn. (It looks cool, and dampens quickly as speed increases)

As a result, a revised vertical fin was machined and fitted to an existing fuselage.  The model was fully assembled and laser aligned, and a new fuselage mold fabricated.

The result corrects the yaw issue at low speed, and the model is excellent at all weights.
