Kinetic 130

Last of the Line
The first model airframe to exceed 500 mph in dynamic soaring flight, the Kinetic 130 is yet again another from scratch, unpaid commission. It is also a point of departure. Again using seed data from Dirk Pflug, the wing of the K100v2 was stretched to 130″ in span. A new wing shape was needed, but making one was not an option. As a result, the wing is right but the shape is not.
Again with a focus on absolute minimalism, records were set, and a copy hangs in the Deutsche Museum Technic in Germany, in the same gallery as the restored Horten IV and the SB-13.
