CNC Pete wanted a model where all components could be fabricated on his own CNC machine.  Chubby is the result at 39″ in span.

Full 6 channel F3x performance in a model you can toss into your car fully assembled.  Not kidding.  Molds to Aaron Harrington, we collaborated on a Tweety, (32″ span) 39″ span, 4 foot Chubby, 5 foot Chubby, 6 foot Chubby, and I am currently building a 4 meter Chubby.  The electric version of the 4 foot Chubby is/was too fast to film at the Soar Utah event.  In moderate winds, I can bring my Chubby to a sustained hover.

Drawing from the sum of dynamic soaring experience, Chubby is huge, huge fun.  Those that got a Chubby are very happy with it, and I have heard the 4 foot version is optimal.  The optional weight tanks let you fly in nearly anything.

An enhanced electric version formed up designed for max performance without buying expensive motors and controllers, but again production faded.  My Chubby is go to.  It’s fun on a bun.  The 4 foot version standard and electric really needs to be resurrected.  It is that special.
